Rossella Altamura

Is in charge of training activities for Smart Revolution Srl. She holds a Master in Human Rights and Conflict Management from Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the University of Pisa.

Since 2011 she has been collaborating with Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, mainly in charge of the design, organization, evaluation and monitoring of highly specialized training activities, especially in the sector of security for personnel working in high-risk areas.

Rossella has organised trainings for the personnel of United Nations, Ministries, NGOs, private companies such as ENEL Italia and since 2016 she is in charge of the project Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) for the European Union Institutions. At the same time Rossella is in charge of other training activities, both in Italy and abroad, especially with reference to the Europe’s New Training Initiative for Civilian Crisis Management (ENTRi) and EU Aid Volunteers Initiative.  Since 2012 she has been acting also as Internship Coordinator of the Master in Human Rights and Conflict Management, advising students about career opportunities.

Finally, she has carried out research activities in the humanitarian sector, contributing in 2015 and 2016 to the annual report on the value of aid by the Italian Emergency Response Agency.
